The best VC podcasts in 2026 are The Twenty Minute VC, Invest Like the Best, All-In, Acquired, BG2Pod, The Full Ratchet, Venture Unlocked and Training Data. A VC podcast is a show where venture investors talk about how they pick, price and back companies, or where they argue about the markets those companies sell into.

The best venture capital podcasts split into two kinds that rarely overlap. Some explain how venture works, deal by deal and fund by fund. Others are investors arguing about technology and markets, and those draw the largest audiences. Know which one you want before you subscribe.

Best VC podcasts in 2026

The best VC podcasts in 2026 are these eight, each the strongest live show for one reason someone listens to investors.

Show Hosted by Best for Median length
The Twenty Minute VC Harry Stebbings Fundraising and the state of venture 70 min
Invest Like the Best Patrick O’Shaughnessy, Colossus How investors judge a business 70 min
All-In Chamath Palihapitiya, Jason Calacanis, David Sacks, David Friedberg Weekly tech and market debate 41 min
Acquired Ben Gilbert and David Rosenthal Company histories, told in full 231 min
BG2Pod Brad Gerstner and Bill Gurley Public markets and AI spending 68 min
The Full Ratchet Nick Moran and Nate Pierotti How early-stage deals get done 50 min
Venture Unlocked Samir Kaji Starting and running a fund 47 min
Training Data Sequoia Capital partners AI, from the builders 50 min

20VC is the one to start with. It publishes about three times a week and covers the questions founders and investors are both asking that month: what seed rounds cost, which stage is contested, whether the exit window is open. For a founder about to raise, it is the other side of the table talking without you in the room.

Best podcasts for learning how venture capital works

The best podcasts for learning how venture capital works are The Full Ratchet, Venture Unlocked and Consumer VC. All three stay on the mechanics of investing rather than the week’s headlines.

Show Hosted by Best for Median length
The Full Ratchet Nick Moran and Nate Pierotti Deal terms, sourcing, exits 50 min
Venture Unlocked Samir Kaji Fund strategy and LPs 47 min
Consumer VC Mike Gelb Consumer brands and CPG investing 64 min

The Full Ratchet has published since 2014 and runs two formats on one feed: a long interview every other week and a five-minute “Investor Stories” episode between them. The short ones are single lessons from working investors, many about the companies they passed on. They are the fastest way into the show.

Venture Unlocked is for the person building a fund rather than a portfolio. Samir Kaji interviews the people who built venture firms, from South Park Commons to Oren Zeev’s solo fund, about how they did it. It publishes every month or two now, down from weekly in 2021, so the back catalogue is where most of its value sits.

Which venture capital firms have podcasts?

Andreessen Horowitz, Sequoia Capital, Kleiner Perkins, First Round, Lightspeed and Alt Capital all run live podcasts. Most are hosted by partners, and most interview founders rather than other investors.

Show Firm Best for Median length
The a16z Show Andreessen Horowitz Technology trends, near daily 52 min
Training Data Sequoia Capital AI researchers and founders 50 min
Grit Kleiner Perkins Founders and go-to-market 65 min
In Depth First Round Tactics for startup leaders 65 min
Uncapped Alt Capital (Jack Altman) Long conversations with investors and founders 55 min
Lightwork Lightspeed The AI news that mattered this week 27 min
Crucible Moments Sequoia Capital Turning points at portfolio companies 44 min

A fund’s show is a sourcing and reputation tool before it is a media product, which is why the guests are founders the firm would like to meet. First Round’s In Depth is the clearest case: hosted by partner Brett Berson, it is tactical advice for people running startups, and it reads like the firm’s operating help delivered in public. For a fund weighing its own show, which VC podcast formats work sets out the four models and what each takes to run.

Best VC podcasts for tech and market news

The best VC podcasts for tech and market news are All-In, BG2Pod, This Week in Startups, Sourcery and Equity. Each one argues about the week’s companies and deals, and none of them explains venture from first principles.

Show Hosted by Best for Median length
All-In Chamath Palihapitiya, Jason Calacanis, David Sacks, David Friedberg Markets, AI, policy 41 min
BG2Pod Brad Gerstner and Bill Gurley Public markets and AI spending 68 min
This Week in Startups Jason Calacanis Startup news and pitches 78 min
Sourcery Molly O’Shea Interviews with investors and CEOs 56 min
Equity TechCrunch Funding rounds and startup news 33 min

BG2Pod is the one to follow for public markets. Brad Gerstner founded Altimeter Capital and Bill Gurley spent 21 years as a general partner at Benchmark, and the show is the two of them working through AI spending, IPOs and the markets. It no longer runs on a schedule: a handful of episodes a year, each one long.

All-In ranges into politics and economics as often as technology. This Week in Startups and Sourcery publish several times a week, so treat them as a news feed and skip freely. Equity is the only one made by reporters rather than investors, and it is the quickest way to hear which rounds closed this week.

Which VC podcasts have the biggest audience?

All-In draws 448K views an episode

All-In has the biggest audience of any VC podcast by a wide margin, with a median full episode drawing several times the views of the next show on YouTube. After it come BG2Pod, Acquired and Invest Like the Best, at a similar level to each other.

Show YouTube subscribers Median views, full episode
All-In 1.16M 448K
BG2Pod 105K 66K
Acquired 338K 61K
Invest Like the Best 113K 52K
The Twenty Minute VC 224K 26K
Uncapped 29K 9,445

The audience follows the argument. The shows debating markets and the shows telling long company stories draw the most views per episode, and the shows explaining how venture works draw far fewer. 20VC publishes about three times as often as Invest Like the Best and gets half its views per episode. For a fund planning its own show, the audience a new VC podcast gets is a smaller number again, and the right benchmark to plan against.

Which VC podcasts have stopped?

Greymatter slid for three years before it stopped

Eight VC podcasts have published nothing in more than 90 days, the common definition of a dormant show. Five of them were run by venture firms.

Show Made by Last episode
Venture Capital Jon Bradshaw and Peter Harris March 2026
The Desi VC Akash Bhat April 2026
Generative Now Lightspeed October 2025
The Logan Bartlett Show Redpoint Ventures September 2025
Greymatter Greylock June 2025
Women in Venture Capital Rashveena and Anvita, Harvard Business School April 2025
The Balderton Podcast Balderton Capital October 2022
The Bootstrapped VC Backstage Capital March 2019

The Logan Bartlett Show is the one to notice. It reached 150 episodes with guests like Marc Benioff and Bret Taylor, its YouTube channel has 48,000 subscribers, and both the feed and the channel stopped on 12 September 2025 without a farewell episode. A strong guest list did not keep it going.

Greymatter slid before it stopped: 69 episodes in 2022, 10 in 2024, one in 2025. Lightspeed ended Generative Now in October 2025 and launched Lightwork, an AI news show, eight months later on a new feed, so anyone still subscribed to the old one hears nothing. Sequoia’s Crucible Moments has been quiet since December 2025, and from outside a season break and an ending look identical. Before following any show, check whether it is still active: open the feed and read the date of the latest episode.

How to choose a VC podcast

Choose a VC podcast by what you are doing in the next six months, then give it three full episodes before judging it.

Raising a round: The Twenty Minute VC. Learning to invest, or joining a fund: The Full Ratchet, starting with Investor Stories. Starting a fund: Venture Unlocked, from the back catalogue. Following public markets and AI spending: BG2Pod, then All-In. Building a company: First Round’s In Depth, and Acquired for the long view. Working in AI: Training Data.

Then check the feeds you already follow. Six of the eight stopped shows above sit on recommended lists updated this year.
