Start with the problem on your desk this quarter. A PM preparing for a loop at an AI lab and a head of product rebuilding discovery need different shows, and the episode lengths run from a commute to a long drive.

Best podcasts for product discovery and strategy

The best podcasts for product discovery and strategy are All Things Product, Product Therapy and Roman’s Product Management Podcast. All three are built on the hosts’ own thinking rather than guest interviews.

Show Made by Median length
All Things Product Teresa Torres and Petra Wille 18 min
Product Therapy SVPG 43 min
Roman’s Product Management Podcast Roman Pichler 13 min

All Things Product is two practitioners talking through one problem a week, such as what good looks like for a product team or how to set training expectations. Teresa Torres wrote Continuous Discovery Habits, and the show is where that thinking gets argued out loud. Product Therapy comes from SVPG, the firm Marty Cagan founded in 2001. Partner Christian Idiodi talks with other SVPG partners about the cultural problems that sink product work, recently discovery in the AI era and cultural debt. It publishes about once a month.

Roman Pichler’s show is a monthly lesson of about thirteen minutes, on topics such as connecting product outcomes to business strategy. Melissa Perri’s Product Thinking, long a fixture on these lists, has published nothing since 24 June 2026.

Best podcasts for product leaders

The best podcasts for product leaders are The Product Podcast, Product Talk and One Knight in Product. The first two interview chief product officers; the third interviews the people product leaders read.

Show Made by Median length
The Product Podcast Product School 32 min
Product Talk Products That Count 38 min
One Knight in Product Jason Knight 65 min

The Product Podcast is hosted by Product School’s CEO, Carlos Gonzalez de Villaumbrosia, and goes out every Wednesday. Recent guests include Replit’s CEO and HP’s president, mostly on what AI agents have done to their org charts. Product Talk, from the nonprofit Products That Count, publishes about twice a week and leans to CPOs outside software, such as Tonal’s CPO and WHOOP’s AI product lead.

One Knight in Product is slower and deeper. Jason Knight publishes about every three weeks, and his recent guests are Jeff Patton, Rich Mironov and Eric Ries. It is the show for hearing an author work through one idea for an hour. Founders still running product themselves have their own list of podcasts for startup founders.

Best AI podcasts for product managers

The best AI podcasts for product managers are How I AI, Behind the Craft and The Growth Podcast. How I AI publishes about twice a week, the others weekly.

Show Made by Median length
How I AI Claire Vo 36 min
Behind the Craft Peter Yang 42 min
The Growth Podcast Aakash Gupta 68 min

How I AI is the most practical of the three. Each guest shows one way they use AI in their work, such as how Reddit built its own AI prototyping tool, and Claire Vo also reviews new tools herself. Behind the Craft, from Peter Yang, runs from agentic engineering workflows to how Google builds with Gemini. The Growth Podcast mixes strategy episodes with full tool tutorials, such as a masterclass on Claude Code for growth.

How I AI only started in April 2025 and already out-publishes every product show except Product Talk. For AI beyond the product team, the best AI podcasts are a separate list.

Best podcasts for a product management career

The best podcasts for a product management career are Supra Insider, Product Mastery Now and Lessons In Product Management.

Show Made by Median length
Supra Insider Marc Baselga and Ben Erez 73 min
Product Mastery Now Chad McAllister 35 min
Lessons In Product Management Path2Product 27 min

Supra Insider is about hiring and careers. The hosts co-founded Insider Loops, and recent episodes cover behavioral interviews at Anthropic and OpenAI and comp negotiation for PM roles. Product Mastery Now has published every Monday for years and is past episode 600, built around seven knowledge areas of the job.

Lessons In Product Management is made for people trying to break into product. It runs in seasons, with a few episodes a year, so treat the archive as the reason to subscribe.

Which product management podcasts are not about AI?

The same category, two different shows

All Things Product, Product Mastery Now and The Product Experience are the product management podcasts least about AI. Fewer than one episode title in four names AI or an AI product this year, against nine in ten at the other end.

Show Episode titles naming AI, 2026
All Things Product 11%
Product Mastery Now 14%
The Product Experience 23%
Supra Insider 30%
One Knight in Product 33%
Product Talk 51%
Lenny’s Podcast 65%
The Product Podcast 81%
The Growth Podcast 87%
Behind the Craft 91%

The turn was fast. At the long-running shows, AI went from about one title in thirty in 2022 to nearly half this year, with most of the rise in the past two years.

The low end still argues about roadmaps, messaging and who owns what. The high end teaches what the tools changed this month. A recommendation from 2023 describes a show that has since moved.

Which product management podcasts have stopped?

Twenty well-known product management podcasts have published nothing in more than 90 days, the common definition of a dormant show. Most still appear on published roundups.

Show Made by Last episode
Productly Speaking Productly Speaking July 2026

PM Magic ProductTank Abuja May 2022
The Product Management Leaders Podcast Voximplant April 2022
Product Hunt Radio Product Hunt April 2020

Productly Speaking runs in seasons, and its sixth ended in July. The rest simply went quiet. This is Product Management published more than 300 episodes, and its last, in October 2023, was an ordinary one. Unsolicited Feedback came from inside Reforge, which sells product management courses, and it stopped a year ago.

Six of the stopped shows were made by companies: DISQO, LaunchNotes, Userback, Voximplant, Product Hunt and Reforge. For a company deciding whether to start one, company podcasts stop when the budget is not renewed, the one person who ran the show moves on, or nobody agreed what working meant.

How to choose a product management podcast

Start from the decision on your desk

Choose a product management podcast by the decision in front of you, then give one show three full episodes before judging it.

Shaping what to build: All Things Product, then Product Therapy. Running a product org: The Product Podcast or One Knight in Product. Using AI in the work itself: How I AI. The job with AI mostly left out: All Things Product or Product Mastery Now. Interviewing for a new role: Supra Insider. Fifteen minutes between meetings: Roman’s Product Management Podcast or All Things Product.

Then read the date of the latest episode. On a 38-show roundup, that one check removes nearly half.

Feed data

Median length is the median of each show’s last 20 episodes over five minutes, from the show measurements read 6 November 2026. “Still publishing” means an episode in the 90 days to that date, and “nothing in more than 90 days” is measured to the same date, from each show’s RSS feed. Episodes per year are from the same measurements. Episode titles, dates, hosts and owners are read from each feed’s channel and item tags on 7 November 2026. Feed URLs and the latest release date of each stopped show were checked against the Apple Podcasts search API on 7 November 2026.

Episode titles naming AI: every title in each feed matched against AI, agents, evals, generative, machine learning, vibe coding and the names ChatGPT, GPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, Copilot, Cursor, OpenAI and Anthropic, read 7 November 2026. Titles only, so a show that discusses AI without naming it counts lower. The 2026 column runs to 7 November and covers ten shows (How I AI is left out as AI by definition). The year-on-year rise covers the six with archives back to 2022: Lenny’s Podcast, The Product Podcast, The Product Experience, One Knight in Product, Product Talk and Product Mastery Now, at 3%, 6%, 16%, 32% and 46% for 2022 to 2026.
